The evening is filled with lively conversations As we sit and enjoy a delicious dinner Of chicken Parmesan, on high stools And the baby is eating with us.
She is part of our conversation
She can say no words other than “ goo goo”, and “ ga ga”, and “ ma ma”.
Yet she is the only one we all speak to.
Ah such love and baby talk
It’s the universal language.
The little one has many years ahead
I hope her dreams are more vivid and vibrant than ours.
