The event was held at Kottawa Dharmapala Vidyalaya. The women’s cricket convener of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Apasari Tillekaratne and former National cricket paceman Nuwan Zoysa were present on this occasion as Chief Guests. Former Sri Lanka ‘A’ leg spinner Suranjith Silva, the head of Silva Spin Bowling Foundation made coordination to deliver the sport gear to schools with lack of facilities to continue this sport and it was highly praised by the respective school principals, staff members and cricketers’ parents especially at this hard period.
