Veteran Journalist Ravi’s funeral today Source:Dailynews The funeral of veteran journalist Ravi Ladduwahetty will be held at 2.30 pm today (17) at Borella Cemetery new crematorium. His remains lie at Lotus Parlour of Jayaratne Funeral Directors, Borella. Ravi Ladduwahetty was a proud product of Trinity College, Kandy. He began his career in the media field as a staff journalist of Upali Newspapers ( Pvt) Ltd in 1995. He worked for ‘The Island’ Newspaper reporting news related to the President, Cabinet, Parliament, Business and Sports. He joined Lake House in 1998 and worked as a Staff journalist for the Daily News. In December 2003 he joined the Daily Mirror newspaper of the Wijeya Newspapers Ltd. He moved to Rivira Media Corporation (Pvt) Ltd in 2006.
