Planters emphasized that with the current wages, output and tea prices, they as company owners did their best to introduce the new wage model so as to provide benefits to the workers.  Further to the revised daily wage model, RPCs also proposed the implementation of productivity-linked earning components to ensure that workers are finally provided with effective incentives and are rewarded for increasing their productivity.
