His parent duo is legendary musicians, directors, producers and soloists PLA Somapala and Chithra nee Perera , having four siblings, three brothers Prasanna, Rohan, Nalin and solitary sister Piumi. Evidently, Chitral has inherited music genre affiliations from his parents’ duo who possessed talent in abundance.
