Child electrocuted during Katina Perahera

A 17-year old child who was performing with fire (Gini Bola) at a Katina Perahera had died when he had come into contact with an unprotected electric wire at Dodangoda in Kalutara.
According to the police, the boy was hit by the electric wire that was laid across the road.
The child, a resident of Dodangoda was admitted to the Kalutara hospital and died this morning.
