Hello, Viewers; let me invite you to my channel this Thursday, June 27th, to share this
delightful invitation and recount your experience at Saru Ketha. A culinary experience
at a newly opened restaurant called Saru Ketha in Kurunegala. “Ladies and gentlemen, food enthusiasts, and lovers of all things culinary, welcome to the grand opening of Saru Ketha—the newest gem in Kurunegala’s dining scene! Today, we embark on a gastronomic adventure, where flavours dance, and memories are made.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, a symbol of new beginnings, occurred at an auspicious
time. My nephew Sugeewa, my niece Michelle, other family members and I carried it out to the sounds of traditional rhythmic Kandyan dances and drum beating. The aromatic dishes, the vibrant dances, and the rhythmic beats all came together to create a truly memorable and culturally significant event.

Over 200 guests and well-wishers arrived from various parts of the island to attend
the function, making it a truly memorable event.”

“As the sun graced the Atha Gala, the historic elephant-shaped giant rock in the heart of this once Royal City, Saru Setha came alive to the sounds of the Kandyan drum beating, accompanied by the Kandyan Dances. The restaurant’s elegant facade beckoned guests, promising delectable delights and warm hospitality.”

The menu for the morning included traditional dishes, a culinary journey prepared by expert chefs in charming cottages with a vibrant atmosphere. Picture delicate curries, fragrant rice, and the aroma of spices and fresh ingredients filling the spacious dining area. The guests truly enjoyed this unique setup and the wide variety of traditional foods, each a testament to our rich culinary heritage.

The morning didn’t end but continued with traditional dances and music performances, followed by a feast of saffron rice and various village curries served to the guests during lunchtime.

So, the next time you visit this beautiful island for a holiday, mark a date on your calendar to savour a journey to Kurunegala. Explore the city with its elephant rocks and dine at this restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you create an unforgettable experience.

So, goodbye for now until we meet again.
