Sri Lankan Recipes by Curry Mad – Pork Kebabs
Ingredients
6 Bamboo Skewers
1 Green Chilli
1 Medium Onion
1 Pork Chop
1/2 Red Capsicum
12 Red Cherries
Preparation
This was just a `left over’ job where the Pork Chop was an extra from the night before, so it had already been cooked. You can grill a fresh chop if you don’t have a `left over’
Cut the Onion, Pork Chop and Capsicum into small cubes, around 1 inch/2 cm. Stone the Cherries and cut into halves. Cut the Green Chillie into small pieces.
Pass all cut ingredients through bamboo skewers, brush a bit of butter over the lot. Cook till satisfactory in the oven grill, or on the BBQ griller outdoors, if the weather permits. That’s it!
