S. THOMAS’ COLLEGE OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION NSW INC. – Notice of Annual General Meeting 2016

Dear Thomian Family,

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General meeting of the S.Thomas’ College Old Boys Association, New South Wales Branch Inc. will be held at 4.00 pm on Sunday, 30th October 2016 at the Wrights Community Centre, Cnr Wrights Rd & Green Rd, Castle Hill NSW 2154.

Note
a) Nomination of candidates for election to the Management committee of the Association must be made in writing, signed by two members of the Association and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate (which may be endorsed on the nomination form) and shall be delivered to the Secretary of the Association not less than 7 days before the date fixed for the holding of the Annual General meeting at which the election is to take place. A suggested nomination form is attached and may be adopted by prospective candidates.

b) A member entitled to attend and vote is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote in his stead. A proxy must be a member of the Association. The document appointing the Proxy must be given to the Secretary no later than 24 hours before the time of the meeting in respect of which the proxy is appointed. No member may hold more than 5 proxies. A suggested proxy form is attached and may be adopted for the above purposes.

c) All STC OBA NSW members are permitted to vote in person or by proxy.

Special Messages from the Committee:

Fellowship over dinner will follow. A hat collection will be taken to defray costs.

Limited number of cuff links & tie clip sets with the Thomian crest will be available for sale for $25 at the AGM.

The Committee is looking forward to seeing as many members for this event. It’s a wonderful opportunity yet again for all
Thomians to socialize in an informal manner.

Please note that the AGM is open for all old Thomians who live in NSW and ACT.
