THOMIAN CAROL SERVICE 2017 – A FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS

We are pleased that all arrangements for this years’ Thomian Carol Service is in place.  This will be our ninth year with David Sansoni training & conducting the Choir. We are thankful that the acclaimed organist Godelieve Ghavalas agreed to accompany the choir on the organ this year as well.

In as much this event is an act of worship to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, following the tradition of S.Thomas’ College ‘A festival of Nine Lessons and Carols’, it is an occasion for the Thomian community together with ALL to celebrate and usher the Advent season in fellowship & unity, singing Carols of praise, reading the Good news and listen to a Message on Christmas. 

Apart from the marvelous singing of the Thomian Choir, the delightful ‘social’ which follows enables us to catch up with our local friends and those visiting Sydney during the holiday season, is a feature we wish to continue as part of this event.

OBA committee will endure to strive to make this event an inclusive, meaningful and a joyful one that will fill the hearts of ALL who look forward and join us in celebration.  

You may recall that we approached you around this time last year to explain OBA’s desire to make the staging of the Carol Service as financially affordable as possible.

Your support gives the committee inspiration to work as a team to coordinate all the arrangements with care and attention.
