Christmas Fruitcake Recipe – By Malsha – eLanka Ingredients: 250 grams cherries 300 grams Rulang 500 grams sugar 250 grams butter 80 grams currants 250 grams raisins 250 grams sultanas 250 grams ginger dosi 250 grams Chow Chow 80 grams candied peel 12 eggs 250 grams cashews 1 small jar of strawberry jam 1/2 glass of brandy 1 small bottle of honey 2 tablespoons vanilla essence 2 tablespoons rose essence 2 tablespoons almond essence 1 teaspoon each of cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg 2 teaspoons grated lime peel Instructions: Chop all the fruits and mix them with brandy. Place the mixture in a large container and seal it for approximately 5 days. In a pan, lightly fry the Rulang and combine it with butter. Separate egg whites and yolks.
