Loving kindness (metta) meditation is a mindfulness practice for the heart, a profound way to cultivate the feelings of compassion and acceptance of oneself, loved ones and ultimately all beings. Learn how to grow and maintain the warm, soft feeling of metta and begin to enjoy the lightness associated with it.
Loving-kindness meditation has the immediate benefit of sweetening and changing old habituated negative patterns of mind. Development of Loving kindness practice is one that has been passed down in an unbroken line for over 2,500 years.
